Great for an introduction back to school or just as a little fun! This quiz was used during a ‘lockdown quiz’ and was designed from scratch. You may want to adapt bits for your class or use it as it is! All questions are either taken from the KS1 / KS2 curriculum or primary school textbooks just like the show. A document for parents and pupils to sign. Invaluable for E-Safety and security. Editable as I have included my word version of the document. Has gone down well with many schools. This is a snippet from the top of the document... Parents / Carers play a crucial role in ensuring that their children understand the need to use the internet / mobile devices in an appropriate way. Research shows that many parents and carers do not fully understand the issues and are less experienced in the use of ICT than their children. The school will therefore take every opportunity to help parents understand these issues through parents’ evenings, newsletters, letters, website / VLE and information about national / local e-safety campaigns / literature. Includes... -Uniquely designed 'Gunpowder Plot Story.' -Uniquely designed by myself 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' that can be used for many other topics easily, all sounds effects etc included! -Uniquely designed article about how last year letters were discovered worth 60,000 -Powerpoint including fire safety points and fire safety advert. Also with a brief History of Bonfire night, all designed in the same sheet as the worksheets. Great as an assembly or for use in class. - Guy Fawkes poem -Task to alphabetically order key words -Highly detailed 'fact file' (4 page document) in which children are required to make their own simplified 'profiles' on the main conspirators of the Gunpowder Plot. In its current form a great activity for year 5/6 although very easily adapted for years 3/4. (Worksheet included.) -Simple Storyboard for younger / SEN children and a more complex one with space for more writing for older children. -The history of fireworks Powerpoint presentation -To try and help I have downloaded TWO videos from youtube, please note I do not claim to own these clips, just thought they may be useful if you were doing the topic. PART ONE of TWO As this is the first time I have shared content in this format (of which I prefer) I am offering a 75% price reduction for a very limited time! Please note this is 15 YEARS worth of Keynotes made on the mac originally for years 3 and 4 although many have been used in older classes and are easily adaptable. INVALUABLE for anyone with a Mac that uses it for teaching as these are VERY hard to find. (Why I had to make them as I much prefer Keynote.) These took many many hours to make individually. Many incorporate videos and animations within them and some have been used to achieve outstanding observations. Thats why the file size is so big, have included 20 here for that reason. For a MacBook user these are fantastic and many should work on iPad too with Keynote. (Although one or two of the animations may be different and I can't 100% promise all will be formatted perfectly from experience.) Keynotes ages 7-10 - A Massive collection of all the presentations I have made ORIGINAL in Mac format. Most are self explanatory but have written a few notes of description for some them below to help. Will save Apple users absolutely tonnes of time as I myself use many of these when I go into schools. You really are getting a lot here believe me. (Some written on Keynote '09 so you may want to open on this to avoid conversion.) - Poetry Creating Images Keynote - Used for an outstanding observation 2 years ago, children went on to write their own beach poems based on the content shown. - Haunted house keynote - Fantastic for boys writing to get them enthralled. - Mummification Keynote - Includes video of the mummification process. - Parental Year 4, shows 'how we do things' in Maths. Includes an EXCELLENT countdown starter that can be used with the children also, (really really effective) but illustrates examples of how we teach in Mathematics at that age. Used in a Maths showcase evening at school. Please note these will NOT work on windows computers (PowerPoint) without conversion although an excellent site to convert these files is https://cloudconvert.com/key-to-ppt I have included this particular resource mainly for Apple users. A collection of resources that will be helpful for teaching children the anti-bullying message in higher elementary school classes. I have also included a list of ideas for anti-bullying week which may be of help to your school / class. I have also included a short assembly with the excellent short animation Narrated by Kate Winslet and lots of additional resources. I have also written an example 'anti-bullying letter' example written in shared writing with the children and a 'Dealing with dilemmas' PowerPoint (i.e. what to do in certain situations.) I have always found the website 'Go-Givers' to be excellent. NB I do not claim to own the video sections of this resource.

This Quiz is is a short general knowledge quiz written by 'Quizinators’ and completely free. I am an experienced Quiz writer and presenter that decided to spread my tried and tested winning formula to others. They are ideal, for a one off event or regular use. If you are presenting a quiz I understand how meticulously researched well phrased questions and answers can help the cause. Each quiz is structured to start easy and get progressively harder (a difficult skill to approximate, after all a question is easy when you know it!) This will give teams with more knowledge a greater challenge near the end. The picture round of this quiz includes a professionally formatted image of the £20 note where players are required to identify the person and then the 9 celebrities within the remainder of the £20 notes. Each quiz contains 30 questions of increasing difficulty and an additional tie-breaker, if required. Questions 1 - 10: Easier questions designed to give your teams some confidence and even raise some laughs. Questions 11 - 20: Medium difficulty questions, some of these may include a multiple choice element. Questions 21 - 25: Harder questions which teams will find much more challenging. Questions 26 - 30: ‘The Wipeout Round’ or ‘Double or Quits’. It is suggested that in this section, you inform teams that each question is worth 2 points, however if one question is answered incorrectly the team ‘wipes-out’ and scores no points for the round, questions can however be missed out with no penalty (just receiving no points for that particular question.)
